Ever thought about making your own posters? Screen printing is an artistic yet economical method for producing prints from digital or hand-drawn designs. This workshop will prepare you to work independently in the darkroom and studio. You will learn the basics of preparing images, exposing screens, and printing a single color (layer) with water-based inks.

Overview
Want to learn how to screen print on Fabric? This hands-on class will provide instruction of the screen printing process, specifically for fabric. You will learn about sourcing printing equipment and materials, preparing your personal artwork for screen printing, coating and exposing a screen, screen printing, heat setting, and fabric care.

1st Thursdays of every month, 6:30-9:00 PM.
GWPP is an open studio for those who have taken a screen printing class with us and want to practice their skills.
We provide ink!
Bring high contrast black artwork on clear acetate/ transparency, paper or T-shirts, screens, and masking tape.
Screens are available to rent for $10/day.
